The unwritten rule of air travel is that the person who is in the center seat gets both armrests. That's difficult to do when to the left and to the right, both armrests are covered in rolls on rolls on rolls of body fat. That's what journalist Sydney Watson found herself having to deal with. And American Airlines acted like SHE was the problem.

Flying is a miserable experience by default, and thanks to the Biden economy an unaffordable one. Imagine paying a ludicrous amount of money for the privilege to be stuck like this for three hours.

Dr. Watson is referring to the fat pride and/or acceptance movement. Where there is a spectrum of fatness to determine how marginalized you are for your fatness, and where schools are no longer teaching basic health because it might hurt someone's feelings.

Ok. It did in fact make me laugh because it wasn't happening to me. Not funny was American Airlines' response. Like most people who speak out, Watson was been shamed for doing so for having a normal BMI.

While the more woke among us are shaming Dr. Watson over her belief she should not be smothered and covered in cellulite, those with functional brains are coming to her defense. Tyrus, set to mollywhop Matt Cardona on his way to the NWA Heavyweight Title, spoke on behalf of XXL-Americans who think "fat pride" is ridiculous.

It's actually a rule. if your girth hangs one inch over your seat into the next seat, you need to get a second seat. But, because we live in Woke World now, you can't tell somebody they're too big for just one seat.

Unfortunately for Sydney, it looked like her two chunky aislemates checked off multiple boxes on the left's preferred marginalized list besides being super-sized. American Airlines double couldn't (or wouldn't) do something about it. But the LEAST they could do is give her a booklet of free drink tickets.
