There is another Big Tech senate hearing happening today. For the sake of argument, let's pretend that, unlike all the other Big Tech hearings, something may happen other than senators getting clips of themselves bloviating that they then share on Big Tech platforms. Because the Twitter whistleblower's comments on doxxing are terrifying.

Peiter 'Mudge' Zatko, former head of security for Twitter, is the whistleblower we discussed last month. To recap his original issues with the bird app: Twitter leadership lied about security vulnerabilities that could open the door to foreign spying or manipulation, hacking, and disinformation campaigns. Twitter also does not reliably delete users’ data and has lied about doing so. And then there's the whole fake accounts thing.

That brings us to this exchange with Senator Tom Cotton:

COTTON: Those employees would be in a position then, if they wanted to, to get this information and dox Twitter users. Is that fair to say?

WHISTLEBLOWER: That is a concern of mine, sir. Yes.

Right. So, 4000 Twitter employees, a vast majority of whom are commie as f*ck and don't hide their hatred towards people who disagree with their political worldview, have access to YOUR personal information. They could tweet it out. They can also leak the information to journalismers in the media who share their hatred towards people with opposing viewpoints.

People like those who donated to Canada's Freedom Convoy, all of whom had their hacked personal information tweeted out. People like that. Though, in that case, Twitter employees didn't leak the info themselves. They only allowed the hacked information to BE tweeted because it was small-dollar middle-class donors and not Hunter Biden.

Not that I expect the Senate to do anything about it. Republicans could have done something when they controlled the White House and the Senate, but they didn't. And Democrats are more concerned with Big Tech companies not doing ENOUGH to deplatform opposing viewpoints. They may pretend otherwise during the hearing, but they know those 4000 Twitter employees are their comrades.

The rest of us need to think long and hard about this. Those 4000 Twitter employees are the same leftists who will do whatever possible to prevent the left losing power in 2022 and 2024.
