There's nothing as narcissistic as demanding everything and everyone conform to a delusional fantasy you've created in your head. And that's exactly what people who suddenly decide to come out as "transgender" do. It's exactly what Leon Brown just did on Instagram. (h/t Daily Wire)

So, I had never heard of "Sister Wives" until reading about this. I cannot stand reality television. I think it's the lowest form of entertainment, meant to keep the dimmest of people glued to the television. And a show about a dude married to four women only serves to illustrate my argument. But I digress.

One of the stars of this great piece of television was one of the daughters who recently posted to Instagram, declaring herself transgender, giving herself a new name and pronouns, and demanding everyone who speaks of her or to her to use said name and pronouns.

I want to illustrate something really quick:

being queer & trans are definitely some of my favorite parts of myself. and yet, there are so many things that i am learning to love about myself through this process. here’s to me getting to know myself, share myself, and continually evolve to be the person i am, to be my favorite self in all contexts.

This announcement makes me want to vomit, not only because the entire thing reads like the stream of consciousness one might imagine flowing through a self-centered toddler but because it's also void of any understanding of proper grammar. It's like a rusty fork on my eyeballs.

She's also not just forcing people to adopt her delusion but threatening them with severing relationships if they choose not to do so. Now, I don't know who would want to be friends with such a person--certainly, I wouldn't associate with this kind of sociopath--but I'm sure there are plenty of idiots currently walking on eggshells to not upset this weirdo.

There are also a bevy of morons rushing to comment on her post.

"Love you so much and proud of you."

"Love love love love love you. I am honored to be your friend [...]"

"Proud of you for being YOU."

Proud of her? Honored to be her friend? Why? None of it makes sense. Everyone associated with this story is an idiot. Can we all stop pretending this movement is anything but a bunch of whiney, unremarkable people attempting to make themselves feel special?

I don't make the rules, but if I did, I would toss all of them into padded rooms.
