According to the Left, voter ID is racist. Many leftists won't think twice about telling you that the SAVE ACT is akin to Jim Crow 2.0. This is what makes it bizarre that an event for Ilhan Omar and Hasan Piker requires voter ID and security.

Hmmm. Last time I checked, this was racist. Additionally, it is a bit bizarre that security for the event was prioritized when we are talking about two big proponents of illegal immigration.

So, let us get this straight. Migrants are not a national security threat, but the people trying to attend his event might be. Got it. This definitely adds up.
According to MPR News:
Left-wing livestreamer Hasan Piker and Democratic U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar joined DFL state Sen. Omar Fateh on Monday evening for an event some Democrats criticized as divisive.
Piker is a self-described democratic-socialist and popular figure with many younger progressives who feel unrepresented by the Democratic Party. He has backed Democratic candidates like New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani and Senate hopeful Abdul El-Sayed of Michigan.
It is not uncommon for leftists to demand ID at their private, secure events, despite not believing in it for our national elections. Here is Mamdani announcing to everyone that you don't need ID to vote:

The standards keep doubling here. But what else is new?
The fact that many on the left demand ID to attend their events, yet actively campaign against it when it comes to this country's laws, tells you all you need to know. If I did not know any better, I might just say the reason they hate voter ID is that it does them zero favors. However, I know better, so I will not be saying that. But to call these people a “threat to Democracy” would be putting it lightly.
