A civil dispute turned racist hoax has become Ms. Rachel’s newest fight, and she could not be more wrong if she tried.
A Black man called the cops on Black parents after they were allegedly being disruptive. Some people claim it was because their son was too good at soccer. There is zero evidence that this was about race. The man who called the cops was also Black. That won't stop Ms. Rachel from jumping on the hoax bandwagon to virtue signal her manufactured outrage as if she has facts on her side.

According to NBC:
The Winter Park Police Department said in a statement that officers responded to a call from a soccer league official alleging a disturbance involving the child’s parents.
Nevada Pierre’s parents insist the 3-year-old was “scorned” for playing too well at a game Saturday, according to the police report. But the game’s sports league director argued the child was removed “due to behavior” and said his “unruly parents” were “upset with their son’s playing time,” the police report said.
Officers determined the “incident was a civil matter between those parties and not criminal. No one was arrested, trespassed, or forced to leave the park,” police added in a statement.
It is what it is. This story should not exist, but Ms. Rachel would like a word.
High-profile children’s educator and entertainer Ms. Rachel labeled the incident “sick.”
“The police were called on a 3-year-old Black boy because he’s too good at soccer. He was kicked out of the league. The cops showed up at the game,” Ms. Rachel wrote online. “I’m LIVID!”
Does she believe everything she hears on the internet? Does she think doomscrolling is essentially the same as genuine research? Anyone can make up any claim on the internet. And while the cops were called, it was due to a civil dispute, with race not being involved. Why is this so hard for people like Ms. Rachel to comprehend? Why is she so obsessed with race?
According to the Winter Park Police Department, “Despite some social media rumors, there was never any suggestion that the call to police was prompted over the child's on-field talent.” And it cannot be emphasized enough that the field director, the man who made the call to police, was also Black. I am having trouble identifying the racism here.
The Winter Park Police Department has received numerous inquiries into a call that was received over the weekend and would like to provide the following information to the community.On October 24, Winter Park Police received a call for assistance. The caller was a youth sport's director at a local child's soccer game. The caller alleged that the parents of a young player were being disruptive and that as the league director, he wanted the parents to leave the park.Upon arrival, officers encountered the parents, who were already in the process of leaving the park on their own accord.This call did NOT prompt officers to trespass any individuals and was considered a civil matter between the league and parents. Despite some social media rumors, there was never any suggestion that the call to police was prompted over the child's on field talent.Officers did help facilitate communication between the league and parents over refunding registration costs to the family.The department has posted a link to the officers' body worn cameras, along with call to police. For the kind of platform Ms. Rachel has, she really needs to do better. She can’t help herself, however, as she turns everyone into a victim based on nothing but internet rumors. No wonder she appeals mostly to children, as her maturity level is that of a toddler. Truly juvenile behavior here.
