THE Ohio State hosts “Sex Week,” somehow encouraging students to avoid pregnancy centers is the least offensive thing
It seems as if people are starting to graduate college dumber than when they enter. There are many reasons as to why that is. This story is one of those reasons.
Ohio State is planning on holding a “sex week” to warn students to stay away from pregnancy centers and also encourage them to write Valentine's Day cards to abortion providers.
It is unclear what the point of all that is but you would think that a publicly funded university should not be allowed to politicize a very political topic. We all know very well the level of outrage that would occur had they encouraged Valentine's Day cards to pregnancy centers, while also warning of the dangers of Planned Parenthood.
According to The Daily Caller:
“Ohio State University (OSU) is holding a ‘Sex Week’ from Feb. 11 to Feb. 17 that has events for students to send Valentine cards to abortion providers and warns students against going to pregnancy centers.
At one event on Feb. 11, students will make Valentine cards for abortion providers to give a ‘shoutout to Ohio-based abortion-providing personnel,’ and the description for a Feb. 14 event calls crisis pregnancy centers ‘dangerous’ ‘anti-abortion centers,’ according to the Sex Week website. The week is put on by a student group called Student Advocates for Sexual Health Awareness (SASHA), which receives student fees through the Council on Student Affairs, and will host events on topics like BDSM, kink, gender ideology and sex while disabled.
‘Crisis Pregnancy Center? More like anti-abortion center. Come learn about what Crisis Pregnancy Centers are and how they are dangerous alternatives for actual reproductive care,’ the event description for “Barriers to Reproductive Healthcare in Ohio’ reads.”
What exactly do you think students will write on that card? "Thank you for committing the greatest evil in history" is the only logical thing that comes to mind. But these people aren't logical, so we all know the cringe and naive things that will be written.
And why is it so important for the school to host events related to "kink"? How exactly does that enrich the minds of students at Ohio State? I think it is also safe to assume that the university would never, and I mean never, allow a conservative group promoting abstinence to hold an event.
This is why employers no longer require college degrees. You are better going off to clown school at this point. You might even learn something, make money afterward, and won't be in ridiculous debt. At least clown colleges have the decency not to promote such degenerate causes (at least to my knowledge).
But none of this is surprising since this is what you get when the lunatics start running the asylum. Unfortunately, we can only expect more of the same.
