CNN's Abby Philips throws self-respect out the window with claims Mamdani was the TARGET of ISIS terrorists

Dignity is a choice. So is self-respect. When you create content for journalisming industrial complex platforms like CNN, either or both can go out the window. Exhibit Q is Abby Philips. If you are one of the tens of people who are still getting your content from CNN, you'd think that two Pennsylvania teens attempted to muderize The Zohran on a sunny afternoon. As opposed to two ISIS-inspired terrorists attempting to create a mass casualty event at an anti-Islam protest.
At some point yesterday, two GOP congressmen pointed out the incompatibility between Islam and America, and Speaker Mike Johnson refused to take a newspaper to their noses. Here's how Abby framed it:
Two Republican congressmen say Muslims don't belong here after an attempted terror attack against [The Zohran], and House Speaker Mike Johnson says nothing to condemn those comments.
CNN's Abby Phillip claims that the attempted NYC bombing was "an attempted terror attack against New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani."

It was a banner day for wondering why so many Americans view jorunalisming as the least trusted institution in America. CNN started Monday attempting to paint Emir Balat and Ibraham Kayumi, the two ISIS-inspired terrorists who, upon arrest, pledged their allegiance to ISIS, as nothing more than two teens who, on an unseasonably sunny day, made a mistake that could change their lives forever.
(That mistake was attempting to kill peaceful protesters with an improvised explosive device)
BREAKING - The two CNN “journalists” who wrote and approved a sympathetic article on the attempted Islamic bombing in New York City, downplaying the attack and romanticizing the two attackers, have been identified as Taylor Romine and Gloria Pazmino, both liberal women. pic.twitter.com/ntl18WGjkU

But at least that acknowledges the "mistake" that was made, even as the media tries to gloss over it and act like the real villains were the tens of people Islamophobiaing in the street and NOT the two Islamists who went to NYC on the sunny day intent to kill them.
Abby is straight up spreading b-b-b-bullsh*t that The Zohran was the target and the victim. According to Abby, the attempt was made on The Zohran's life by two "teens." If you give CNN until the end of the week, they'll be claiming the "MAGA Republican" who killed Charlie Kirk was in a group chat with the two "teens" and talked them into it.
People who get their news from CNN are more uninformed than those who watch no news at all.
