Pramila Jayapal says quiet part out loud, admits Democrats are holding DHS funding hostage on behalf of illegals

Rep. Pramila Jayapal has once again proven that there is no low too low for the Democratic Party. According to her, they have previously withheld funding from crucial agencies in the fight to ensure that no human is illegal, and they will do so again until their demands are met. It does not matter to them that their job is to represent you — the American people. As long as criminal aliens are shielded from accountability, in their eyes, their job is done.
According to Jayapal, “we are not funding DHS, ICE, and CBP” because “they are lawless agencies” and “they are not operating with regard to the rights” of people she claims “have been here for a long time.” By “have been here for a long time,” she means illegal immigrants, but the term is the left’s Voldemort; if they say it, someone might be deported.
Americans are being inconvenienced, to say the very least, for the left to keep up their charade. They would rather have the people they were elected to represent suffer than have a criminal alien be deported and held accountable for breaking our laws.

Can you believe we live in a time where the left is fighting for the rights of foreign nationals to break our laws, while innocent Americans suffer? You truly cannot make up for this level of insanity.
ICE is largely unaffected by this shutdown. This means that Democrats would rather have DHS employees have their pay withheld as a de facto "bargaining chip” to get what they want. It also happens that what they want will not make Americans better off, as they continue to fight for the special rights of foreign nationals over those they were elected to represent.
Maybe one day, people like Jayapal will finally do their job and start working on ways to make the American people better off, but as of writing this, that is not the left’s priority. And to call that a blatant misuse of their powers would be an understatement.
