The problem with first-world leftists is that they are incredibly bored with their lives. Not only do many of them have nothing going for them, but they also have no real-world issues. This is why they often create problems and controversy, despite there being no evidence to support their accusations. This is one of those instances.
Converse, which is owned by Nike, posted an ad. The story should have ended here, but because leftists like to create something out of nothing, this story exists.
According to the left, the ad is reminiscent of a KKK hood and lynching.
Nike-owned Converse apologizes and pulls ad after internet freaks claimed the ad evoked the KKK and lynchings.
"We're sorry. We understand why this image is deeply upsetting and recognize that we got this wrong," the company said in a statement.

LOL. It is not that deep. Not everyone is obsessed with race.
According to CBS:
Shared on Instagram, the image featured K-pop singer Karina wearing a long white skirt and holding a pair of classic Chuck 70 X hi-top sneakers. Online critics said the triangular-shaped skirt resembled a Ku Klux Klan hood, while the way the singer is depicted holding a pair of sneakers also conjures up the image of a lynching victim.
This is a bit of a stretch, to say the very least. It was not even a hood; it was a skirt, and the woke mob decided it could look like a hood if you used your imagination. These people are painfully foolish.
Converse, which is owned by Nike, has apologized for the ad and pulled it from the internet.
"We're sorry," the company said in a statement to CBS News. "We understand why this image is deeply upsetting and recognize that we got this wrong. We removed it from our channels and are working to remove it everywhere it appeared. This should not have happened, and we will do better."
Nike is already insanely woke. Apologizing to the mob never works when you did nothing wrong; it pleases no one. To call this pathetic would be an understatement.
