Ron DeSantis waited two years to UNLOAD on Vivek Ramaswamy like this

Ron DeSantis is the only Republican having fun this week. Fairplay to him for it. He bit his tongue and was a team player while the huge raging elections were going on. Republicans in Florida held on to the statewide seats. Now that the huge raging 2028 Election has begun, DeSantis has things to opine on. Today, it was Vivek catching the vapors.
MAGA loved Vivek in 2024, when he was the MAGA proxy in the presidential debates repeating MAGA opinions back to them (Trump opted not to attend). Usually, they were directed at Ron DeSantis. Then around Christmas of last year, Vivek said some dumb sh*t about immigration and Saved By The Bell, and everyone who had screamed about how OMG BASED he was started to think that maybe he was slimy and only told people what they wanted to hear. I know, right?
Anyway. Amy Acton is the Ohio governor-elect now, and DeSantis had a little something something to get off his chest.
Governor DeSantis GOES OFF on Vivek Ramaswamy.“How bad did they beat Vivek like a drum? Now, part of that was Vivek, quite frankly. I don't know why they would have pushed him to be the candidate there. My mom's from Youngstown. Ohio is a working-class state, very blue-collar. You know, Vivek, he's like a tech guy, did this Alzheimer's drug, and he wants to bring in people, foreign worker on visas. That is not the type of person that's going to sell. And I know he shot himself in the foot. I know he did a lot of other stuff to make it a real landslide against him.But even with that, it's like, you got to meet the voters where they are on some of this stuff. I think we would have done better in Ohio had we had a candidate that was more representative or more in tune with the interests of kind of these blue-collar people that make the backbone of Ohio. But they got blown out there.”

My mom's from Youngstown. Ohio is a working-class state, very blue-collar. You know, Vivek ... he wants to bring in people, foreign worker on visas. That is not the type of person that's going to sell. I know he did a lot of other stuff to make it a real landslide against him.
He's talking about the commercial with Acton's mom. I didn't have any strong opinions about it, and I refuse to act as if the left has any moral high ground in the matter. But as far as what the Ohio voters thought of it, the results from Tuesday night speak for themselves.
But even with that, it's like, you got to meet the voters where they are on some of this stuff. I think we would have done better in Ohio had we had a candidate that was more representative or more in tune with the interests of kind of these blue-collar people that make the backbone of Ohio. But they got blown out there.
The streets have noticed how much Ron is enjoying this.
Dayum. Ron has determined to settle some family business.

You just know Heavy D has been waiting two years to drop this hammer on Vivek. Has to feel good.

Kinda feels like Ron has been quiet for 2 years and now feels like it's time to unleash. I'm here for it.

Ron DeSantis isn't running for president the same way Ted Cruz isn't running for president, and JD Vance isn't running for president, and Chris Christie isn't running for president. Each of them has the holidays to, finger quote, "discuss it with their families."
But I know that you know that I know that you know.
