Gretchen Whitmer, Gavin Newsom BRAG about how long they kept your kids locked out of school during the pandemic

The problem with being Governor is that there is no room for doing what you “think” is right. You owe it to the people to do everything in your power not to make mistakes, or at the very least, try. This is why the consequences from lockdowns should not be taken lightly, especially since these “mistakes” will cause harm for decades to come.
Speaking with California’s Supreme Leader Gavin Newsom, Gretchen Whitmer believes she did what she thought “was the right thing to do” during COVID when she locked healthy children down and ruined parts of their childhood.

This is not funny. These two can try and gaslight the public all they want, but everyone knew how school-aged children were the least at-risk population for COVID. This means they caused irreversible learning loss for no reason. What a total disgrace.
According to the Annie E. Casey Foundation:
The failure of the United States to prepare our kids to learn is setting up millions of young people to struggle through adulthood. If leaders don’t make sure students learn what they missed out on during the pandemic, the negative impact of COVID-19 on education could cost our children hundreds of billions of dollars in future earnings and the U.S. economy trillions in lost activity. The 2024 KIDS COUNT® Data Book, released today by the Annie E. Casey Foundation, uses 50-state data to call attention to the factors that cause these challenges, from poverty to physical and mental health, trauma and others.
Learning loss was not the only negative outcome from school courses.
Many students experienced significant mental health struggles after the shift to remote learning. Students were increasingly isolated, spending more time on devices and getting very little physical activity — all of which contributed to increased stress, anxiety and depression.
The damage has been done. Now, the question is: what are these “leaders” doing to fix it? At this point, all they are doing is laughing away any accountability while they do not even pretend to put a band-aid on the harm their policies caused. Why is there not more outrage over this?
Rather than doing what needs to be done to fix the harm they caused, these two losers have found time to make TikTok videos that are so cringe it should be illegal.

Words cannot describe how insufferable these two are. And to call them an utter embarrassment would be putting it lightly.
