We assume democrats are the party of illegal immigration. Mostly because, well, democrats have made it clear they are the party of illegal immigration. All of Trump's immigration wins? Democrats want them to go away. What's helpful is when a democrat admits out loud he wants to import MORE foreign workers to take jobs that could go to Americans. Our latest example? Iowa democrat senate candidate Josh Turek.
He says the problem is it's not easy enough for states like Iowa to import more foreign workers.
We need an easier pathway to earn citizenship so we can bring in more workers. This is a state that's really struggling.
No, I don't think we do.
Since a key difference between the two parties comes down to importing vs. deporting, here's the opposing argument.
VP Vance on the impact of deporting illegal aliens:

The next time someone is chirping online that Donald Trump hasn't mass deported everyone in this country illegally (he's only done everything he could with everyone working against him, which is still more than anyone else), and that there is no difference between the two parties, THIS is the difference between the two parties.
One side is tackling our immigration problem, both the illegal one as well as the legal one.

The other side is on the campaign trail in 2026 saying that, if elected, he'll work to import MORE foreigners and make it easier for them to stay here.
Staying home, or even just threatening to stay home, does not send the message you think it does. Nor will you get the result you are hoping for.
