There is a trend among Democrats to find candidates who "code" Christian because if you hide all their woke anti-Christian positions (or claim they don't believe anything they used to believe anymore), moderate voters in red states will be tricked into voting for them. Like James Talafreako in Texas.

Sadly, polls show it may be working (which is a blog post from a different time). But I want to focus on Kansas megachurch pastor and democrat senate candidate Adam Hamilton, who calls on you to repent for raising cows and eating beef.

Yes, in Kansas.

During a January 2020 sermon called “What would Jesus say about climate change?” (there goes that Woke 1 again), Hamilton called on Christians to repent for their carbon footprint, saying "That’s what repentance means — I saw things differently, it changed my heart, and it changed my behavior.”

Then came these bars attacking farmers:

Some of the things that we grow because we like to eat them, like cattle, end up producing more carbon dioxide than other crops that we could grow or other forms of food that we could have.

Basically, he's "Christian" on the streets, but Green New Deal Marxist in the sheets. Which is why it's mind-boggling that, according to polls, Kansas might be a competitive race.

The rub is that all the sects on the right - Establishment, MAGA, America First, Religious Right, etc - want to burn down the party this election cycle because they didn't get everything they wanted in under two years. They've only gotten a lot of what they wanted, and more than they've gotten from any GOP president that came before Trump.

Trump didn't mass deport everyone all at once. Not to mention Iran, which, while a misguided decision on Trump's part (plus the lack of any communication skills on it), is NOT an excuse to sit out and not vote this November.

While Democrats are set to elect people who want to outlaw beef (look to Europe for what the left will do in this country if we let them), people on the right keep threatening not to vote in November over... what exactly? A single foreign policy decision they disagree with? There still being five people hanging out outside of your Home Depot?

What do you think happens after Democrats impeach Trump again, only this time with enough Democrats in the Senate to convict him? That helps JD Vance win in 2028? That helps your sect of the right say "we told you so, hurr derp?"

Democrats are not hiding what they will do if they are given power again. We need to stop acting like we're okay with it because we think it'll send a message.

Because it WILL send a message. Just not the one a lot of you think.
