Leftist Preacher Claims Jesus Supported Abortion, Single Payer

Corey Stallings
May 22, 2018

Leftists generally aren't in favor of Jesus and the good book. What with that thou shalt not kill stuff. All that judgment. Morals. Rules. Any attention they show to Big Jeezy is usually mockery or outright hostility. That's not the case with this preacher.

Nope, he says Jesus was a big ol' lefty:

Evangelical pastor Robert Jeffress said Donald Trump was a moral leader who stood “on the right side of you, O God”.

Half a world away, outside the Capitol in Washington, the Rev William Barber led a moment of silence for the 60 Palestinians killed by Israeli soldiers.

Well, this is already off to a good start. Giving props to God by siding against his chosen people possessing the land he gave them.

Barber says some conservative faith leaders have “cynically” interpreted the Bible’s teachings to demonize homosexuality, abortion, scientific facts and other religions. They are guilty, he says, of “theological malpractice” and “modern-day heresy”.

So, it's heretical to take the Bible at its word. To think debraining kiddos is a less-than-reputable practice. To kindly disapprove of male-on-male ass play.

“Jesus set up free healthcare clinics everywhere he went. He healed everybody and never charged a leper a co-pay.”

Yes, let us not forget the totally biblical words, "And Jesus spoketh to his disciples saying 'healthcare shalt haveth but a single payer.'" I believe it's from the Book of Bullsh*tius.

The demands of the Poor People’s Campaign are as ambitious as they are progressive. They have called for a repeal of the Republican tax cuts, federal and state minimum wage laws and universal single-payer healthcare.

I thought to covet was a major no-no, yet all I'm hearing here is a group of people who want free stuff. Sounds like preacher man isn't reading his Bible as much as using it for rolling paper. Because he'd have to be high to think anything he's proposing is remotely Christian.

Jesus didn't have many nice things to say about the rich, sure. He also never once told the poor to steal at will, so long as it's for a "good cause." Let's also note Jesus didn't live in the time of free market capitalism. So "the rich" in Jesus' time isn't the same as the American rich. Amen, amen I say to you, to ignore historical context is the gateway to stupidity where thou shalt be mocked.

These lefties are trying their darnedest to make Commie Jesus a thing. It's not gonna happen.
