Nothing says sticking it to the Trump Administration like gathering among HIV-positive men so they can kiss each other in some bizarre protest of deportation efforts. And no, this is not satire.

According to the Daily Caller:

A group of HIV-positive men gathered at the U.S.–Mexico border Sunday and staged a coordinated “kiss-in,” aiming to confront what they described as discrimination and hostile immigration policies under President Donald Trump.

Hostile against whom? HIV-positive men?

According to the outlet, on the high end, about two percent of migrants have been HIV-positive since 2020. On the low end, it is about half a percent. So, unclear what all the commotion is about, but I digress.

The demonstration took place at Friendship Park/Parque de la Amistad between California and Mexico as activists marked the run-up to World AIDS Day, according to The Advocate. MPact Global Action for Gay Men’s Health and Rights officials organized the event. They said they intend to normalize public displays of affection by people living with HIV, push back against stigmas surrounding sex and dating, and highlight concerns that queer migrants face under Trump-era border enforcement.

The funny thing is that no one would know they were positive if they didn't announce it to the world. They can show whatever affection they wish. Although, I think most people reading this would hope they keep it to a minimum, but no one would know they are living with an infectious disease. This isn't Anthony Fasci's 1980s AIDS debacle. Things have changed, and it's time they realize that.

Andrew Spieldenner, MPact’s executive director, told The Advocate that the group deliberately sought a high-visibility protest at the border.

“As of one of the only openly HIV-positive Executive Directors of a global organization, I am inspired and heartened by this highly visible action for the rights of all people living with HIV, especially queer migrants, when there’s so much fear and disinformation out there,” Spieldenner told The Advocate. “Our communities are powerful when we come together.”

LOL. Queer migrants. Get real. These people have no real problems, well, except for the fact that they have HIV, so they just make them up in their heads. This becomes their entire identity, so much so that they make fake causes and deranged protests to prove a thing or two about a thing or two. And in the pursuit of whatever this is, they got nothing out of it except minimal media attention. I don’t know about you, but I don’t think Trump will be more likely to be lenient towards queer migrants who are positive for HIV. But that's just my two cents. You can form your own conclusions.
