John Lennon's Son Performs 'Imagine' at Ukraine Benefit Because the Ukrainian People Haven't Suffered Enough
Anytime anything bad happens, someone thinks singing John Lennon's communist anthem "Imagine" will fix things. Upworthy refers to the song as "a secular hymn that can conjure hope in the aftermath of the most tragic events." That's because to leftist twats like Upworthy bloggers, imagining there is no Heaven, countries, and possessions is considered "uplifting." Julian Lennon, John's son, swore he would never perform the song live. Then he decided the Ukrainian people hadn't suffered enough and performed it for the “Stand For Ukraine” social media rally.

What sucks most about this is that Nuno Bettencourt is involved. The guitar god who wrote Bill & Ted's air guitar riffs has been reduced to this nonsense. It makes me want to imagine there was no "No More Words."
The last time we were subjected to this ear AIDS, Gal Gadot and her celebrity friends were bored at the beginning of the pandemic. They felt singing John Lennon's anthem of a sad, hopeless existence would make the rest of us feel better while not getting to see our grandparents or be able to open the businesses that provide for our families. Listening to celebrities who have everything tell the rest of us to imagine no possessions: THAT is what would make us feel like we were all in this together.
John's other son got based. Julian went back on a fifty-year promise with the universe to never perform this song ever. When the opportunity for virtue-signaling became available, he felt he needed a little extra something-something. If I were a Ukrainian, I'd send a message to Putin that joining NATO was all Julian Lennon's idea.
"Imagine" is a terrible song. People who still perform it are terrible people.
