Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson Claims Republicans Have Not Accepted The Results Of The Civil War

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson is very clear that Conservatives have not accepted the result of the Civil War. But in reality, it’s “clear” that he rejects the fact that the Republican Party was formed to end slavery. Everyone reading this knows that, but for some reason, he rejects that truth and points the finger at you.
Can he name one elected Republican who has genuinely said they reject the results of the war? No? Not even one? That’s what I thought.
According to him, Conservatives “have longed for a rematch” of the war. But if this were true, why is it not true?
It’s totally deranged that the left correlates the enforcement of federal immigration laws with slavery. Not only is this disingenuous, but it’s a deranged lie. It was the Democrats who fought to keep slavery, and the right who fought to end it. That is reality, and it’s incredible that he just ignored that.
Does he also realize that the first Black members of Congress were also Black? Why does he ignore that point?
The left can cry white supremacy as much as they wish, but this has nothing to do with the founding principles of the Republican Party, and it has nothing to do with it today.
It was also people in the Democratic Party who held the longest filibuster in American history to oppose the Civil Rights Act. In fact, every policy this country has ever enforced that prioritized one race over another can almost always be assigned to the left. That was true back then, and that is true today. Only now, they pretend as if they are all in it to help Black Americans, when that could not be further from the truth.
Unfortunately for Johnson, people are not buying this crap anymore. This is presley why the left lost votes among Black voters, while Trump gained in that demographic. So, he can pretend to make up whatever claim he wishes to convey, but he’s fooling no one.
Some humans are illegal, and enforcement of those laws has zero correlation with the fact that the Dems fought to keep slavery alive. The sooner people like him realize that, the better off everyone will be. And to call his stance pathetic would be an understatement.
