I know the media lies. You know the media lies. The media knows the media lies. However, if you aren't always on alert, it can be easy to fall for one of the narratives if you aren't careful. Even to Joe Rogan, who should a) know better, and b) should know better because of how much the media has lied about him.

Everyone knew when Donald Trump started the mass deportations, the media was going to isolate a sob story or two and use that as an excuse why Trump shouldn't be allowed to deport anyone. Most notable is "Maryland Man" Abrego Garcia. Trump deported a husband and father from Maryland accidentally, implying that he was just a friend and neighbor who was here legally.

Of course, we all know now:

• New footage shows "Maryland man" trafficking humans (allegedly), and JD Vance wants to know where Democrats are now
• Turns out Maryland doesn't want "Maryland Man" Kilmar Abrego Garcia sent back to live with them

Rogan admits he fell for the hoax.

So I was saying, "Oh my God, they deported a Maryland man and father." Because that's what I was reading in the news. And then they released the [body cam footage] of when they arrested him. It's crazy. But you can't go on narratives. They are just designed to make the Trump administration look like monsters.

It happens to the best of us. I follow the news for a living and have to absorb as much as I can as my day job, so I see the false narratives being spun in real time... and even I fall for them sometimes.

Rogan falling for it still cracks me up, though, because he has had the media do it to HIM. CNN lied to the American people that Rogan took a horse dewormer and was spreading disinformation about COVID, even as THEY spread disinformation, making his skin color look sickly while reporting on it.

Whether or not this was at the direction of the People Who Controlled Biden Admin is open for debate.
