The left loves to waste tax dollars on the most absurd initiatives. When you combine that with the fact that we used to have a sleeping potato in the office, you get this story.

The Biden Administration tried to turn our maps gay. This is not satire; this was once a reality in this great nation. Your tax dollars were used to “queer a map,” which means to “make a map more gay.” It’s unclear how maps have anything to do with bedroom preferences, especially since they're inanimate, but this is how asinine the past administration truly was.

According to Sarah B. Rogers, it is possible the maps “were not gay enough.” She did clarify that turning the maps gay was for Czechia and Slovakia, adding that they could have requested the assistance of the United States to turn their maps gay.

There were other projects and grants that the previous administration awarded when it came to maps not being gay enough.

In 2021, the National Endowment for the Humanities awarded $350,000 to the Damron Co.’s “Address Books.” These are “travel guides that tell a 'story of survival' for LGBTQ communities in the United States.”

Since January 2020, Gonzaba and his research team have plotted more than 30,000 establishments mentioned in the guides for the interactive Mapping the Gay Guides project. The nationwide listings spanning 1965 to 1980 include bars, restaurants, bathhouses, cinemas and other establishments.

According to a 2023 report from the Center for Family and Human Rights, “In the last three years, the U.S. government issued more than $4.1 billion in taxpayer money through 1,100 grants to fund LGBT-promoting projects around the world.”

Not only was your government trying to make this country more gay, but that initiative was spread throughout the globe. This is what your elected officials believed your hard-earned tax dollars should be spent on, while you struggled to make ends meet, and Americans suffered through record inflation.

This was so bad that according to the institute, “The Biden administration has insistently made LGBT rights a core part of U.S. foreign policy forcing other nations to embrace controversial ideologies to get Western aid funding. The administration is attempting to subsidize cultural change through taxes of hardworking Americans who would not typically support LGBT activist groups.”

The fact that this article exists and these initiatives were once implemented proves how much of an embarrassment the Biden Administration was. Additionally, it shows how little they actually cared about those they were elected to represent, and how much they despised you.

It’s incomprehensible that we lived through a time when federal officials tried to turn maps gay. You cannot make this level of insanity up. Fortunately, gayness is no longer national policy. However, this will forever be a national embarrassment that should never, never be forgotten. Because when the left claims they are fighting for you, what they really mean is that they are fighting to turn the world gay. Incredible — truly incredible.
