Jake Tapper Points Out Leftists' Hypocritical Friendship With Louis Farrakhan
Leftists love to hold conservatives to impossible standards. For instance, if we love Black Panther and think Wakanda is a happening place, we're a bunch of cultural-appropriating colonizers. If we think Black Panther is only okay, we're racist for "wanting everything to be white." There is no scenario where we aren't bigots.
Meanwhile, in the real world, leftists are guilty of the very things they put on us. Cozying up to an anti-semitic he-man homo hater like Louis Farrakhan for one. Even Jake Tapper is taking notice:
CNN anchor Jake Tapper on Monday called out Democrats for refusing to denounce Nation of Islam leader and rabid anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan.
Tapper played a clip of Farrakhan’s recent speech raging against “the Jews,” and noted The Daily Caller News Foundation’s exclusive report on Democratic Illinois Rep. Danny Davis’s consistent praise for Farrakhan. Tapper also noted Women’s March leader Tamika Mallory’s support for Farrakhan, despite his anti-Semitism.
“Why is it so tough for some people to condemn a rabid anti-semite who is also a misogynist and anti-LGBT?” Tapper asked his panel. “It should not be,” agreed CNN commentator Jen Psaki, a former Clinton campaign official.
I can't believe what I'm hearing. A mainstream mediate actually had the stones to call the left out over their hypocrisy.
It's funny how prominent leftists are allowed to heap praise on the chocolate equivalent of David Duke in a bowtie. That stuff is a-okay. On the other hand, if a non-leftist so much as shares a Pepe meme on the Twitters, leftist pod people unite to label him the reanimated corpse of Hitler in disguise.
If the left is really concerned with ending discrimination, distancing themselves from Farrakhan should be a Pelosi. You know, a "no-brainer." It'll catch on, give it time. Instead, photos of the leftist elite and Farrakhan keep popping up, only for leftists to swat them down like a coverup-themed game of Whack-A-Mole. Which leads even fake news pushers like Jake Tapper to say "what the f**k."
This unholy alliance between lefties and radical Afrocentric anti-Semites just goes to prove progressives don't really care about anti-bigotry at all. Those standards only seem to apply to leftists' political enemies. Duly noted.
