ICE Director Blasts Democrat: I'm Just Enforcing Laws You All Enacted [VIDEO]
Acting ICE Director Thomas Homan started this job with one f*** to give about your feels. And that f*** just got deported. Folks, these are the jokes.
Homan is known for his bluntness (see Acting ICE Director Spanks Progressives on DACA and Sanctuary Cities and ICE Director: Charge Politicians who Run Sanctuary Cities with Crimes). Which is refreshing for a cat who's enforcing immigration laws.
The laws that CONGRESS passed, mind you. I'll let him explain. But first, listen to this idiot from California give her sob stories. Trust me, it's important to the plot.
HOMAN: First of all, no one on this panel is anti-immigrant. We are law enforcement officers that enforce the law that you all enacted. So to sit there and say that we’re anti-immigrant is just wrong. We are enforcing the laws. If you think it’s okay to enter the country illegally, and you shouldn’t be arrested, that’s just wrong. The laws clearly state, if you enter the country illegally, it is a crime. And no one is up here saying all illegal aliens are criminals. A certain percentage of them are criminals. They commit yet another offense after they are here. I have said many times I certainly understand the plight of these people, and I feel bad for some of these people, but I have a job to do. I have to enforce the law, and uphold the oath I took to enact the laws enacted by you, Congress.
If the "laws" are as racist as Congress claims they are, change them. Until then, Homan is right. Entering a country illegally is illegal. This isn't even hard. Feelings, circumstances, or how well a child looks as a prop on the DNC platform? Doesn't matter. If you broke the law, you broke the law. It's the job of ICE to enforce those laws which are broken.
Democrats are all touchy-feely on the rules so long as breaking those rules favors their platform. But if illegal immigrants suddenly supported Donald Trump or any other Republican, don't you think the left would have a sudden change of heart? 'Cause I do.
Ah, but that would mean they can't mug for the camera claiming the laws are racist.
