When it comes to free speech, Harvard is by far the worst university in America, according to an annual report released Wednesday by the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE). The survey of more than 55,000 students across the country shows that most attend colleges that don’t value free expression.

The largest survey conducted on campus free speech ranks 248 colleges. Michigan Tech comes in first while Harvard ranks dead last with a score of zero out of 100, the lowest ever, according to FIRE.

Are you surprised that the same university that discriminated against Asians also received the lowest free speech score ever? They intentionally hurt hard-working students solely based on the color of their skin and it’s no surprise they also have a “culture of conformity and censorship.”

“Each year, the climate on college campuses grows more inhospitable to free speech,” said FIRE Director of Polling and Analytics Sean Stevens. “Some of the most prestigious universities in our country have the most repressive administrations. Students should know that a college degree at certain schools may come at the expense of their free speech rights.”

Up to 72% of students opposed allowing a conservative speaker on campus, depending on the topic, while up to 43% of students opposed allowing a liberal speaker on campus.

Do you mean to tell me conservative students face discriminatory policies that inhibit their rights to freedom of speech? Who would have guessed? It’s not like our colleges are being run by liberal nuts.

FIRE says the dismal score was “generous,” considering Harvard’s actual score was a -10.69.

Someone should let Harvard and these other universities know that students' rights don’t end when they are on campus.

The best schools, according to the survey, were Michigan Technological University, Auburn University, the University of New Hampshire, Oregon State University, Florida State University, the University of Virginia, Texas A&M University, George Mason University, University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and the University of Colorado Boulder.

We see administrators and students try to shut down conservative speech all the time. And when they don’t agree with something they try to prevent some ideas from being heard altogether. College students are pretty much adult babies who go into emotional distress anytime they hear a fact that goes against their woke ideology. Maybe if they could actually defend their ideas they wouldn't have to amount to so much censorship.
