Especially when leftists are looking to demonize gun owners as frequently as a Feminism Now support group runs out of cream filled donuts. But every so often there's a good "big, stupid idiot with a gun" story that makes it's way to the LwC tip line.

Apparently the world's dumbest bad guy had to be told that when he pistol whips someone, he should make sure the safety is still on.

Four South Jersey residents plotted to rob an acquaintance Tuesday night, but it all went wrong when one of the suspected bandits shot himself, authorities said.

Police responded to a parking garage on Cooper Street in Woodbury shortly after 8:30 p.m. for a report of a shooting.

Officers learned that one of the robbers allegedly struck the 20-year-old victim on the head with a gun. The weapon discharged, striking the assailant in the hand, police said.

Just putting it out there, but, a conservative who respects firearms would know how easy one could go off.

A conservative who respects firearms also wouldn't roll someone for twenty bucks and a coupon to Linens and Things. But to each their own.
