According to Democrat Senator Alex Padilla, the reason the left is fighting against voter ID is not that they want to rig elections, but because Republicans do. Makes sense, doesn't it?

Padilla stated that Kristi Noem “said the quiet part out loud,” and that “this administration only wants the right people to vote.” He implies this was some sort of Freudian slip, and that it somehow proves Conservatives want to rig elections. However, if Padilla had just a little bit of common sense, which does not seem to be too common with the left, he would understand that she meant American citizens.

Per her speech:

“It’s my job to make sure that our electrical grid is sustained and intact and operational, that we ensure that we protect our cybersecurity,” she said, adding that “elections is another one of those critical infrastructure responsibilities that I have.”

She pledged to ensure “that we’ve been proactive to make sure that we have the right people voting, electing the right leaders to lead.”

Only a radical leftist can equate protecting cybersecurity and election integrity with illegal voting. You don't secure an election to rig it. That is not how these things work. You do, however, create insecure elections to include illegal votes. One of these things is not like the other.

This is unsurprising, though, as psychological projection is a common political trait of the left. More often than not, when they call out the other side for things like this, they could not be more guilty of this if they tried.

First, the left claimed this was Jim Crow 2.0. They justified this by implying Black people are too stupid to get an ID. Then, they claimed there were no widespread voting irregularities that gave enough justification to make elections more secure. Now, people like Padilla have decided to accuse the other side of rigging it in an attempt to unrig it. You truly cannot make up this level of insanity.

The people want and deserve secure elections. The left can fight against that all they want — but in that pathetic pursuit, they have proven just who they intend to represent — and it certainly is not the American people. But what else is new?
