Last night, President Donald Trump singled out Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi while speaking about insider stock trading during the State of the Union. When CNN asked her how she felt about this, she malfunctioned.

During his speech, Trump said Congress must "pass the Stop Insider Trading Act without delay,” adding that this is to “ensure that members of Congress cannot corruptly profit from using insider information.” He then questioned if Crazy Nancy stood up, to which she later claimed, “We all did. I did too.”

According to Fox News:

"I say back to him, as that's what members said, look at your own self," Pelosi responded haltingly. "The inference he wants to draw is there was something wrong with that, which there wasn't, and if there was, people get prosecuted for it. For a long time now we've been trying to pass this law. It doesn't have — now it has more support than it had before, and —"

Rumor has it that there are at least several websites that follow her trading. Could this just be a coincidence?

Before the former House speaker could finish her thought, Hunt interrupted, noting that Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., "stood and applauded" when the president spoke about the topic.

"Well, we all did. I did too," the former House speaker shot back. "He said, ‘Did Nancy stand up?’ Yeah, I did too. A lot of people stood up, a lot of Democrats stood up."

Whether or not Crazy Nancy and her husband have profited from insider trading is up for you to decide. It is, however, a bit bizarre that she has not found a better response to these allegations after all these years. Not everyone benefits from over $100 million in profits in Congress, but Nancy does. Her response to this was “Well, what about Trump?!” which is deeply pathetic. Last time I checked, Trump is one of the only recent presidents to leave office with less money. When you lose over $1 billion in four years, that does not scream corruption, as the left pretends.

That being said, all that can be concluded is that the math is not adding up, and a law needs to be passed. Draw your own conclusions.
