There are days when irony can be pretty ironic. One such day happened to Elliot, a UK journalist for Channel 4. Elliot went undercover and "infiltrated" a "far-right" organization to expose what makes them the way they are. Instead, Elliot found out what makes far-left Antifa the way they are as they beat the sh*t out of them.

Elliot's cries of "but I'm a journalist" went unanswered. Antifa would have jolly-stomped him anyway.

Elliot was embedded as part of a documentary called The Enemy Within: The Far Right: Dispatches. It is described as a "year-long investigation deep undercover [that] reveals the concerning new tactics of Britain's far-right - from meddling in by-elections to homeschooling." You can watch it here if you are so inclined. I'm guessing not, and you're only here to laugh at the wanker reporter.

Unclear is if Elliot is the type of person who doesn't understand why people hate Antifa. After all, they are "anti-fascism." It says so in their name. Also unclear is at what time during the beatdown, if at all, Elliot revised his opinion. Was it just before the attack? Was it five punches in? That's something I'd like to see a documentary on. I'd settle for someone taking this clip, adding a record scratch, and a voice-over saying, "Yeah, that's me. You're probably wondering how I wound up here."

I'd also like to see video of Elliot tracking down the Antifa goon who beat him. You know, to make sure he didn't hurt his assailant's knuckles with his face.
