Gina Carano tells Disney to LAWYER UP, announces lawsuit for "Mandalorian" firing that's being funded by Elon Musk
Elon Musk offered to fund a lawsuit for anyone who got fired over expressing opinions on the Internets, and Gina Carano is taking him up on the offer. She has announced she is suing DISNEY after being fired from The Mandalorian over sharing a meme.
She shared many memes. In 2021, she was very vocal in disagreement with the SCHMOVID narrative being pushed by the Left and, therefore, most of the media and entertainment industry. Carano would regularly trend because lefties on Twitter were throwing a "Gina Carano is Over Party," though we have since learned those trending topics were manipulated by the Lefties who worked at Twitter. You'll notice how Cancel Chris Pratt hasn't trended since Elon fired the people responsible.
But Gina shared one meme too many. While progressive actors are free to have an opinion they want in Hollywood, anyone to the left of Karl Marx is not, as Carano illustrates.
Look with your own eyes at what I posted and ask yourself, for example, where did I compare Republicans to the Jewish people in the holocaust? I didn’t. Ask yourself why they were calling me a racist, was there any merit behind that or history of it whatsoever? No. Look at why I was called a transphobe--for making droid noises from Star Wars? “Beep, bop, boop” was obviously directed to the online bullies and did not in any way denigrate transgender people.
Were my questions about masks, lockdowns & forced vaccines ok to ask & push the subject into the light? Should we have been allowed to publicly discuss those topics at that time without being harassed or censored? Absolutely.
Enter Elon Musk.
A couple months ago Elon Musk tweeted that if you had been fired from using the platform (X) for exercising your right to free speech, he would like to offer these people legal representation. [...] To my surprise, a few months ago I received an email from a lawyer who had been hired by X to look into my story & many others. Turns out after sending them as much information as I could gather these past few months, my now lawyers & X believe whole-heartedly in my case & are moving forward.
Musk seems anxious to get to work.
I expect this to be one of many lawsuits against Disney.
They have been blatantly racist, sexist & censorious for years, which means there is a vast treasure trove of emails/texts/slack/etc.

If you were discriminated against by Disney or its subsidiaries (ABC, ESPN, Marvel, etc), just reply to this post to receive legal support https://t.co/PDqCgJKAY5

This is where silly people chirp that no one is really ever "canceled," and derpity derp "free speech doesn't mean free from consequences." The thing with cancel culture is that it is less about the "cancel" and more about the "culture." There is a culture of sniffling leftist twats who think you are entitled to their opinion and their opinion only, and if you stray from it they will f*cking destroy you. It doesn't matter if you are Dave Chappelle or someone who went viral having a bad day at a store.
They get away with it because companies don't feel any consequences for firing people over a handful of random idiots on social media telling them to. There needs to be a consequence culture for companies who will fire you over expressing a bad opinion or "liking" a bad opinion somewhere on social media. Having to deal with wrongful termination lawsuit is a great start.
A high-profile lawsuit against Disney that's funded by Elon Musk could be a game-changer.
