The biggest win for Gavin Newsom last night was that he even agreed to the debate in the first place knowing what a dismal failure he is. But unfortunately, sometimes people don’t know when to quit. That is why Newsom’s wife had to tell him he had made enough of a fool for one night.

According to NBC:

“According to four sources in the DeSantis camp — one who witnessed the moment in the room and three others who were standing backstage (where there was no press or live studio audience) — Newsom’s wife, Jennifer Siebel Newsom, came into the debate room on at least two occasions to raise some objections. She also made her way to the stage during the break after the candidates agreed to extend the debate and put an end to it. A fifth source on the ground, unaffiliated with either campaign, confirmed that Siebel Newsom ended the debate on her husband’s behalf, saying, “We’re done.’”

Rather than thank his wife for intervening to spare him further humiliation, his team is denying all that.

At this point, his wife was in the anger stage of grief while Newsom was still in the denial part.

Everyone knew DeSantis owned Newsom except Newsom. Now his team is crying and alleging "cheating," implying that DeSantis and Hannity conspired to tag team against him throughout the 90-minute debate.

“Before Ron DeSantis could unveil his “poop map,” Gov. Gavin Newsom team’s frustration with Sean Hannity and his crew centered on his promises to them that he would be a fair moderator, only to repeatedly sandbag the governor and give the entire affair a 2-on-1 dynamic — as they saw it,” according to Politico.

I mean what did they expect was going to happen? California's leadership is indefensible. Were they not aware of San Francisco's poop map?

“The debate was rigged, and Newsom still won,” Newsom adviser Sean Clegg said.

Newsom spokesperson Nathan Click said there was a teleprompter in DeSantis’ sight that revealed upcoming topics mid-debate. He claims Newsom didn’t notice it until much later in the evening.

“They promised during the walkthrough it would not be visible,” Click said. “Newsom himself saw it from the stage deep into the debate. A live cheat sheet. Newsom won this debate with both hands tied behind his back.”

Typical leftist response, lie, lie, and lie some more. Just like how he did during the debate.

Fox of course denied these allegations with a spokesperson saying neither candidate was able to see any of the debate questions.

“Gavin Newsom got beat so badly last night his wife literally had to throw in the towel for him. It was embarrassing,” DeSantis spokesperson Andrew Romeo said.

If Newsom and DeSantis end up running against each other one day, who do you think his wife will vote for?
