Feminists Insert Gender Neutral Propaganda Bookmarks in Children's Books

Courtney Kirchoff
October 11, 2015

You know how we always hear how liberals don't want conservative views being pushed on them? My favorite chant is "Keep your rosaries off my ovaries." That's because they're busy dropping their propaganda wherever and whenever they can, and being liberal crazies, they loathe competition or any ideas contrary to leftism.

Well feminists in England have reached even lower in the gutter.

If you go into a bookshop today, you might be in for a surprise. A group of feminists in Cheltenham has been sneaking into stores and leaving “gender-busting” bookmarks inside children’s books that are specifically for boys or girls. The bookmarks are hand-made, with slogans including: “Celebrate her brain, not her beauty”; “Boys don’t have to be gruff, tough or rough”; and “Let girls and boys be kids”.

This campaign is the latest attempt by parents’ groups to stop big retailers attaching gendered messages to books, clothes and toys. The Twitter group @LetToysBeToys recently persuaded Usborne Books to remove “for girls” and “for boys” from titles. The Independent on Sunday does not review any children’s books that explicitly exclude either boys or girls.

There you are, a parent, taking your kid into a bookstore, getting them away from their smart phones, their iPads, and the TV for a little old-fashioned book reading. What's your reward? Feminist gender-neuetral propaganda which says boys shouldn't be "gruff, tough or ruff" and girls shouldn't be princesses or told they're pretty...by boys. Because the patriarchy. And feminists hate pretty girls. Also hygiene.

But hey, dropping leaflets into books which bash boys for calling girls pretty and bash boys for being boys (notice a theme there?) is all the feminists have left. They can't, like, write stories of their own, because writing involves more than whining about the patriarchy. Unless of course it's about a transgendered teddy bear. Creative writing requires creativity and positivity and most feminists are plain out of that. They're too busy ignoring the obvious and egregious abuses by Islamists against women and insisting Shaun King is black.
