A weird debate took place Monday morning and over the weekend. On one side, there are leftists claiming when they say #DefundThePolice, they don't really mean defund the police. On the other side are leftists saying that if you don't mean defund the police when you say #DefundThePolice, you shouldn't say #DefundThePolice. Then there's a third group of leftists who flat-out want to defund the police, like the Minneapolis City Council, which voted to do just that. If you find yourself saying, "But Brodigan, isn't Minneapolis where the riots started?" Yes, yes it is. Excellent job paying attention.

Which brings us to the president of the Minneapolis City Council speaking with Alyson Camerota. She doesn't seem to understand the concept of thought. Just ... just watch.

If you think it's my white privilege to be concerned about someone breaking into my house if you've completely dismantled the police, guilty! I cop to my pro-police, anti-home invasion privilege. Especially when people who think like this most likely also opposed my right to the Second Amendment. I get that these past few weeks have exposed any number of difficult conversations we need to be having (see TERRY CREWS CONTROVERSIAL STATEMENT: WHITE PEOPLE AND BLACK PEOPLE SHOULD TALK TO EACH OTHER and THIS COMEDIAN WANTS YOU TO KNOW WHERE TO STICK YOUR WHITE GUILT AND VIRTUE-SIGNALING). Most people of different backgrounds, I'm sure, can come together and agree as one that this woman is an idiot.
