Leftist toolbag tries playing the Jesus card to defend illegal immigration, no one is more amused than Scott Jennings

It's always amusing to hear people who loathe all of the Jesus-based religions claim Jesus when they think it's a winning argument for their leftist political agenda. In the eyes of the Democrat Party, the only thing Jesus has ever done is argue for illegal immigration and welfare. Leftist douchelord John Fugelsang tried playing the Jesus card on CNN. Scott Jennings was too busy laughing at him to hit him with an Uno Draw 4.
Fugelsang first came up during the Bush years when George W. Bush was the most Hitlerly thing to ever happen to America. This was before Donald Trump became the Hitlerly thing to ever happen to America. And long after Democrats have decided that every Republican candidate was the most Hitlerly thing to happen to America... literally since Hitler.
During the Bush years, because he liked to mention Jesus, the left and the media (but I repeat myself) decided anyone who disagreed with them was because they were too busy clinging to their guns and religion (shouts to Obama) to know any better. This was when Democrats divided America into "The United States of Canada" and "JesusLand." Funny, because now the left loves George Bush and opposes us annexing Canada into America, but that's a blog post for another time.'
Fugelsang's argument comes from the snooty, uppity, head up their rectum, belief Democrats have that conservative Christians are so dumb, you can say "Jesus would have thought x" and people would change their position just because you said "Jesus said."
Romans 13: Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. TL: DR, laws are laws, and as long as they don't contradict God's laws, we are to follow them. Common-sense border security and illegal immigration reform don't contradict those laws; therefore, people like John Fudelsang can take the handful of Bible passages he was given and stick them up his nose.
Admittedly, I'm the least religious person at LwC. Also, my spiritual advisor is half in the bag at a winery somewhere while we're on hiatus, arguing with the sommelier about the 2003 Pinot Noir vs. the 2004 Pinot Noir (shouts to Gerald). But my understanding of Jesus's teaching is that, when it comes to helping the less fortunate, we are called to GIVE OF OURSELVES. His teachings are not to demand that other people give and be dickheads about them doing so.
And I may have missed the passage where Jesus called on his disciples to import refugees to game the system while claiming that is not what they are doing.
