No, I don't think John Fetterman is turning Republican any time soon. Yes, I know he will always vote with the Democrats. Sometimes, you just need to sit back and enjoy content for what it is. It's politics on the Internet. It's not that deep. And don't tell me you don't enjoy watching all the new ways Fetterman triggers the left when he chooses common sense over whatever Democrats believe this week. This specific week, this means abolishing ICE, calling them Nazis, and lying about what they are doing, knowing they can count on most of the media to swear by it.

Fetterman dissents.

My favorite thing about John Fetterman is that Democrats are too stupid to side with John Fetterman. Fetterman, who runs away from Washington, DC whenever he can (I respect that), talks to normies who live in blue-collar swing states like Pennsylvania. This is why he knew Democrats were in trouble in 2024, while the braintrust of the party -- the ones who weren't recovering from mental issues -- thought Tim Walz would be able to whitesplain to men why they should vote for Kamala Harris.

Fetterman knows going all in on illegal immigration is a bad idea for his party. His party would rather side with the people who want them to get shot to prove they are resisting Trump.

In other words, the people who shot at ICE agents while they raided a marijuana farm in California that was (allegedly) using child labor.

Fetterman's fellow Democrats have decide to side with the lunatics attacking out law enforcements officers and, as is standard procedure, lie knowing they can count on most in the media to swear by it before calling in the "fact" "checkers" to nipick over rhetoric, argue semantics, and do so in bad faith.

Mayhaps one day Democrats will start listening to John Fetterman. Considering they launched a coordinated effort to smear him in the press a few months ago, I doubt it will happen. But it might, and if it does, we can go back to being the Fetterman haters. Until then, it appears the party has decided to go all in on illegal immigration to the dismay of the one or two peers who think that's a bad idea. Far be it from me to stand in their way.
