So many voters are fleeing unaffordable Democrat states for competently run Republican states, you'd think they were all making asylum claims. In fairness, some of them are in fact nuts because they kept re-electing the same failed Democrat leadership who made their states unaffordable, but that's beside the point. CNN data guru "We're Just Wild About" Harry Enten crunched the numbers, and it explains why blue state Democrats are so desperate to cling to as many illegals as they can.

This 2030 forecast is based on population decline just for economic factors: high taxes, high rents, high cost of living, high tax structure, increased cost of utility bills, etc.

• Minnesota is losing one. As is Oregon.
• Illinois is losing two congressional seats.
• New York is losing two congressional seats.
• California is losing FOUR congressional seats.
• Meanwhile, Texas is gaining four seats, as is the state of Florida.

As Harry says, "The biggest population growth this decade: All 5 of the states are states that Trump won! But it's not just a red state boom. We’re looking at what I would dare call a blue state depression."

Now imagine what the data would look like if Trump if allowed to carry out his mass deportations. It explains why places like Chicago, Minneapolis, New York City, and California have gone all in on protecting illegal immigrants at the expense of actual American citizens.

It's also why the belief amongst many of us to the right of Karl Marx or Zohran Mamdani is that, among other reasons, Democrats insist on counting illegals when it comes to the census to game the system. It's the only way for them to maintain power.

However, that's one side of the argument. The other side would argue that, according to "experts" and "independent" "fact" "checkers," there isn't a signed affidavit admitting where democrats admit that they are doing this, so it's not true.

I'm not an expert or an independent fact checker. I don't even play one on the internets. Who's to say what goes through a person's mind when they smear law enforcement officers as the "Gestapo?" Or when they claim without evidence that Somalians built this country? Or that our country isn't "free" because there are people living in it who think existing laws should be enforced?

Also, let's be clear. All because people are fleeing their Democrat run states after another decade of electing Democrats to enact Democrat polices that make the state unaffordable and unsafe to live in, that doesn't mean those people will wake up and admit they're partially to blame. New York is set to lose its fifth congressional seat since the 2010 census. Democrats have had near-total control the entire time and have had total control for the past seven years.

Just because someone moves from Westchester to Dallas doesn't mean they won't still be easily manipulated by Democrat social issues to vote against their self-interests. And then, when Texas becomes unaffordable, move to Idaho. But I digress.

What's important here is that another ten years of failed progressive policies are causing those same progressives to lose whatever electoral power they had. Throw in millions of deported undocumented democrats, and the left will never win again. That's why they're so desperate now.
