Democrat JB Pritzker reveals Democrats’ plan for ‘Project 2029’ and how Democrats aim to jail Trump administration officials once they are in power:

The left has made hating Trump its official campaign strategy for over 10 years now. That did not help them in 2016 or 2024. Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker believes that the third time is the charm, and has announced the left's new campaign proposal: Project 2029.
Speaking to the New York Times, when asked, “What does a Project 2029 agenda look like for you?” he responded as any Democrat would, which is to make it about hating your opponents, while failing to articulate how they would make Americans better off.
I don’t think you can speak of it in shorthand, but we’ve got to restore the rule of law, and that means holding people accountable who’ve broken the law. I’m talking about the people in this administration who’ve broken the law and federal agents who’ve broken the law.
To claim that many people in the Trump Administration have broken the law, he sure fails at providing one concrete example.
That means criminally prosecuted?
Criminally prosecuted, civilly prosecuted. Whatever it is that we can do. A second thing is just thinking about people’s everyday lives, lifting people up and making things more affordable in the world. How about finally we Democrats get to universal health care? Obamacare was terrific and it advanced the cause, but we still have a whole lot of people who don’t have coverage. And now, of course, it’s being taken away from a lot of people. Another part of the agenda is, we’ve got to raise the minimum wage in this country. Minimum wage is $7.25. It’s about $14,000 a year if you have one full-time job. You can’t survive on $14,000 as a single person. Even if you hold two minimum-wage jobs, $28,000 a year — you can’t raise a family on that.
Call me crazy, but I believe the law states there must be evidence of a crime before investigating someone. What is that saying? Is it ‘innocent until proven guilty’? Because it sure seems like the left loves to label people as guilty until proven innocent, doesn't it?
He then clarified that only after the left has gone after Trump, that is when progressives will fight for their socialist utopia. In that pathetic pursuit, he wishes to make health care universal. This is a terrible idea, but we can almost be certain that whatever the left makes happen, if anything, it will make everyone worse off. Well, everyone except the insurance companies, as proven by his praise of Obamacare.
According to the Heritage Foundation:
The Affordable Care Act is unaffordable, evidenced by skyrocketing premium costs, crazy deductibles, and explosive taxpayer obligations to cover program costs.
Obamacare is a great program for big insurance corporations and their middlemen, not so much for beneficiaries or taxpayers.
Isn't it ironic how, when the left claims to fight for the little people, the only people that end up better off are massive corporations and monopolies? Weird how that works.
Additionally, raising the federal minimum wage will not make things more affordable. Only about 1% of workers earn the federal minimum wage. That means about 99% of workers earn more than that. While I agree that this wage is far from livable, and there is clearly an argument as to why people should be paid more than that, he is still offering nothing substantial that will benefit the American people.
Maybe one day, people like Pritzker will actually fight to benefit the people he claims to represent, but until then, the best he can do is go after people he disagrees with politically, while pretending to make life more affordable for you. And to call him pathetic would be an understatement.
