America still doesn't have a Speaker of the House. America has also shrugged its shoulders because, contrary to what corporate media wants you to believe, America is NOT watching. America has more important things to worry about. But to those of us very online people, a new name has emerged as a candidate and one I'm a big fan of. Congressman Byron Donalds.

I had thought Jim Jordan had it locked up after the endorsement of former President Donald Trump, but Trump didn't have enough influence among the House Republicans after successfully endorsing Kevin McCarthy in January. Jordan is out and we need a new nominee.

Donalds said in a statement, "Under my leadership, the house will lead the charge to advance a simple objective: put the American people first, keep them safe, and make their lives easier."

Donalds is not without his detractors. Social media influencer Rep. AOC was quick to blast the idea of Speaker Donalds. Rep. AOC, whom critics refer to as "silly," does not think Donalds has been entrenched in Washington DC long enough and doesn't have the experience. Apropos of nothing, Byron Donalds is a former portfolio manager and financial analyst, and Rep. AOC is a former bartender.

It was always Byron Donalds. Or at least should have been when his name was the first one floated at the beginning of the month.

We here at the Louder with Crowder Dot Com website have been huge fans of the congressman since his first speech where he did four minutes on Nancy Pelosi that was nothing but disrespectful. During the January GOP Chaos when we were electing a new Speaker, Donalds was the name put up as the not-Kevin McCarthy as a handful of rebels negotiated changes to the rules and the ability to have actual debates on issues to affect change for the American people. Speaker Donalds still has a nice ring to it. And this is still an all-time quote:

Donalds checks off at least one of the two boxes for being Speaker of the House. He's one of our best when it comes to articulating a conservative position regardless of the medium, whether it's in the media, at a Congressional hearing, or reaching out to new audiences.

The other is to be determined, but it's to be determined for all the potential candidates. The Speaker needs to be able to fundraise and campaign for other congressmen in order to grow the majority. That's why this next bit about Mrs. Donalds and Mom's For Liberty is interesting:

An organized group of "Mama Grizzlies" focused on local issues that cross party lines (outside of the very online extreme progressives who control the Democrat party) is what led to Glenn Youngkin's victory in 2021. It's why Florida was one of the few places we saw electoral growth in 2022. It's also why Leftists are smearing these concerned mothers as "household tyrants."

They are a coalition of voters we haven't tapped into on a national scale yet. Restructuring the NRCC heading into next year, to me, is much more intriguing than electing another speaker who will repeat my opinions back to me on X.

The Congressman already has the endorsement of one of the anti-Jordan holdouts.

The way things stand right now, the caucus is going to hear from the candidates on Monday and vote on Tuesday. After that, who the f*ck knows? But I still like the sound of Speaker Donalds.
