Joe Rogan: Paying more in taxes would be fine if the government didn't suck so bad at fixing anything

Joe Rogan: “I wouldn't mind paying more taxes if they fixed everything, but it doesn't seem like it fixes anything! Not one things gets fixed. And they keep asking for more money, which is crazy. The solution is: cut it all off.”

It is unclear what it truly means to pay your “fair share,” considering wealth is not something that was intended to be “shared” with strangers, but that is what the left continues to demand. This is why some people in California pay more than 14% of their income to the government. Not only is this absurd, but it also fails to deliver anything remotely beneficial to the people. This is why it is even more ridiculous that officials continue to demand more of the fruits of your labor while failing to deliver any results.
Joe Rogan indicated that he "wouldn't mind" paying more in taxes if they fixed everything, but said the problem is that "not one thing" gets fixed. This is why he believes the government needs to be cut off.
According to The Post Millennial:
Speaking in reference to the wealth tax being proposed in California, Rogan said that the narrative of Democrats in the states is that rich people aren’t paying enough in taxes, "and they’re like, stop being greedy, pay your fair share."
"Like, what is your fair share, and where is it going? Like, if you could show me that an increase in taxes would fix all problems, I said this when I lived there, I wouldn’t mind paying more taxes if they fixed everything," Rogan said. "But it doesn’t seem like it fixes anything. Not one thing gets fixed. And they keep asking for more money, which is crazy. The solution is cut it all off."
More often than not, when officials throw money at a problem, it gets worse. Is it really a surprise that the more billions these people spend on homelessness, the more it increases?
It is almost as if no one in the state can dare to be bothered to do their job. The state practically burns down every other day. And it is almost like officials continue to turn a blind eye to rampant theft. When you combine all of that with the zombie apocalypse, you don't even get subpar results.
He said that Texas has "no state taxes," while California residents have to pay a 14 percent tax. He said the state is "incentivized to take that money and. do whatever they want. So the more they can come up with, like building tiny homes or whatever the f*ck it is, it’s just an incentive for them."
Californians continue to pay premium costs but get nothing in return. And officials could not care less, as they know they will continue to receive these funds, despite not doing their job. Instead of providing ways that will prioritize public safety, clean up the streets, and protect the freedoms of Americans, the best they can do is mass homelessness, restorative justice for criminals, and working on ways to trans the kids. The fact that they continue to be awarded for this, despite several states having no income tax, is a scandal in itself.
Residents have more than paid their fair share. It is time for officials to do their job.
