If you wanted to know why the Democrat establishment hates podcasts and people being allowed to express opinions on the internets, look no further than Bernie Sanders sitting down with Andrew Schulz. When the Democrat Party doesn't control the content like they do on CNN or in the New York Times, they get called out on their bullplop. Like, for example, the way they call anyone who gets in their way various kinds of -ists guilty of -isms.

Akaash Singh asked about "Bernie Bros," and how when Bernie ran against Hillary, his supporters were bothered as "bros" and called both racists and sexist. You have to remember, the ONLY reason why you wouldn't vote for a Democrat is because you're an -ist and not because they suck at life. Schulzy drew the comparison to the same thing they did when KamaLOLa ran against Trump, othering "podcast" bros and accusing them of the -isms.

Bernie, who also called Democrats a threat to democracy in the same podcast appearance, admitted out loud who was behind it. And it wasn't a SuperPAC.

"That was the Democratic establishment... that's what the liberal elite does."

I would have liked a follow-up to hear if he thinks this is why so many Bernie Bros were driven to Donald Trump. This is an argument I get with some lefty friends who, while chasing their daily anti-Trump headline, point to policy that isn't traditionally Republican to ask where the outrage is. This is because of the liberal elite and the media (but I repeat myself) lies that MAGA is hardcore conservative.

It's not. It's a coalition that includes former Bernie Bros, former Occupy Wall Street people, former Democrats who were told BY the Democrat Party there's no place for them anymore, and a lot of apolitical bros. It's a coalition, but admitting that would mean the media and the liberal elite (but I repeat myself) f*cked up.

Bernie also went off on identity politics, which was odd. Not that what he said about the liberal elite and identity politics wasn't accurate. But he is just coming off tour with his sidekick, social media influencer Rep. AOC, and she doesn't exist without identity politics. Rep. AOC has rarely not accused people who disagree with her of various -isms and -phobias.

Still, hearing Bernie admit out loud what we all already know to be true is kinda cool. It will be fascinating to see what other Democrats work the podcast circuit to admit how much Democrats su-diddly-uck.
