While DEI can, in fact, be extremely dangerous, there is no greater threat to national security than implementing racist policies in the military. In this sense, DEI could very likely contribute to the loss of American lives. This is because when you promote people based on skin color, bad things happen. This, combined with the fact that this practice is not only illegal and racist, is exactly why it was removed from being implemented in the military. This should not be controversial, since all it did was remove racism as a matter of policy. However, the problem with this is that the left is not here to be morally correct, so much as they are to be politically correct.

Democrat Elizabeth Dempsey Beggs thinks that removing DEI in the military is grounds to impeach Pete Hegseth.

According to Beggs, while disagreeing on policy is not justification to remove him from his position, removing DEI is.

“What is the reason to impeach is continuing to make our military weaker by putting his own ideology first,” as she claims he ignores the data that proves prompting people to command positions based on skin color “makes us stronger.”

I am not about to research this so-called “data” that allegedly proves racist practice makes us stronger because you don't need any numbers to know this statement is nothing more than leftist gobbledegook. Prioritizing one skin color over another solely for that reason cannot make anyone stronger because it mandates you disregard meritocracy. This rarely works out, as it requires you to promote unqualified individuals based on ideology, and there is nothing more racist than that.

On top of all of that, it is totally insane to assume people of color cannot earn these positions the fair and square way. This mindset is precisely why we have the phrase, “the soft bigotry of low expectations.” And to claim Beggs is nothing more than a naive racist would be an understatement,
