While the midterm elections are important to all Americans, they hold a specific value to JD Vance. The election results will play a factor into if he runs for president in 2028, or if he "decides it's not the right time for his young family." So to make the case to the American people, Vance has settled on a two-pronged approach. Sell the Trump Administration's accomplishments. And point out how batsh*t crazy the democrat party is.
Vance pushed this messaging at the All In Conference. The first part was reminding people of all the wins of the past year. Something that, if we're being honest, his boss sucks at. While Trump cares about ballrooms and putting his name on buildings and live-tweeting cable news he claims not to watch yet is always in his feelings about, the American people care about struggling to be able to afford to provide for their families.
The question is, "What have you done for me lately?"
As Vance illustrates, quite a lot.
There is a lot of good that we’ve done over the past 18 months. We cut taxes bigly. We cut taxes on overtime, Social Security, and tips. Those are tax cuts for middle American workers, not just for the elites in Washington and New York City. We’ve had an amazing success with the border, with immigration. We’ve pursued H-1B reform that prioritizes American workers over foreign nationals.

Is there more that needs to be done? Of course. There is always more that needs to be done. JD Vance understands that.
Will it be done if voters throw their hands up and put democrats back in power? Not only no, but what Vance and company HAVE accomplished goes away. That's the second part of the vice president's pitch.
Even if you don’t agree with us on every issue, the other party is consumed by craziness. They’re consumed by people who want to steal everything, who want to give the country over to illegal aliens and criminals. They actively brag about it. ... ut them in a mental hospital. Do not put them in Congress. Because even if you don’t agree with us on every policy issue, at least we’re motivated by common sense and American interest. They’re just motivated by left-wing interest groups and radicalism, and they’re going to do a very bad job if we give them power.

There are forty-eight days until Election Day. No, it's not looking good so far, both historically as well as with current polling.
However, if we focus on these two things that Vance lays out, and have HIM running the lead on getting the message out there, we stand a chance. Something about things not being over until they're over.
