As we wait for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to claim Dave Portnoy is catcalling her, Dave is doubling down and making money. Hand over fist money. He was on Tucker Carlson's show (Mark Steyn guest-hosting) to explain how this whole kerfuffle started (it was a JOKE!) and how Cortez's plan blew up in her bug-eyed face but helped Barstool immensely.

Barstool Sports is a comedy website. They write jokes, they post funny videos. Essentially, Barstool Sports is to sports what Louder with Crowder is to news and politics. We're not reporters. We're not news anchors. We're not racing into the fray like firefighters. We try to be funny, and when we not funny, at least insightful. And if not insightful... well, I personally enjoy poop jokes.

Ocasio-Cortez just saw a chance to bleat about unions and took it. I think Dave's right, she doesn't have a clue what Barstool Sports is, she's just using them to line her own Prada pant-suited pockets with donations. Which doesn't seem to be working quite as well as she hoped. Then again, thinking was never really up there on AOC's lists of priorities.
