Massachusetts town where America was born turns Anti-American, demands you snitch on neighbors using gas-powered law equipment

Lexington, Massachusetts is the location of the "shot heard around the world" that launched the American Revolution. Give me liberty or death, know what I mean? 250 years later, it's the location of neighbors being encouraged to snitch on people for using gas-powered lawn equipment as they clean up and landscape their property.
Apparently, banning gas-powered landscaping equipment is the new leftist cause of the day. When Virginia's AWFL "moderate" governor got elected, it was one of the things her "moderate" democrat party did, besides declaring Virginia a sanctuary state, sending boys back into the girls' bathroom, and increasing taxes on the middle class.
Yes, an upper-class Boston suburb is Un-American. I'm going to guess the AWFL people who pushed this rule probably also oppose ICE deporting their neighbors, providing they don't actually live in their neighborhood and only show up on Wednesday to take care of their lawn. There's even a hotline set up for the local Karens to ask to speak to a manager:
To Submit a Complaint, please call the non-emergency phone line.
It is best if the call is made while the violation is taking place, rather than waiting, so there is an opportunity for the officer to speak with those in violation.
Local commercial landscape companies have been notified of these changes. We advise residents to use the information above to contact the Police Department, and not to confront commercial landscapers who may be in violation.
I wonder how concerned the AWFL Karens are going to be about climate and noise as their lawns start to look less than immaculate. Because the battery-powered equipment? Sucks. I made the mistake of getting a battery-powered snow blower instead of a far superior gas-powered one. Not for gay environmental reasons. I just didn't want to have to worry about keeping a gasoline canister in the garage.
You know what it's not very good at doing? Blowing snow.

I wind up letting my neighbor use his far superior gas-powered one on the sidewalk in exchange for garage beers. Are they going to ban garage beers next? See how fast we rebel and dump our Miller Lites into the harbor. Though that would be a waste of beer, so maybe not.
While the birthplace of America, like most of the northeast, has gone commie, you'll be happy to know there are still places in America that are still American.

This is why you need to pay attention to local politics. Though in a lot of areas, the leftists pushing these rules aren't affected by the rules. It's a matter of time before a ban on lawn equipment comes to New York. The people pushing it will be Democrats from Manhattan and Brooklyn, where they don't have lawns.
