Okay, I thought blackface was bad. I was told, have read, have watched many an accounting of how pretending to be a black person by applying dark makeup is the height of racism. Yet for the past two weeks, it seems every leftist who claims to hate racism has donned the blackface at some point in his or her life. Including television's favorite insufferable harpie, Joy Behar from The View. Here she is from 2016, just a short three years ago, admitting to and showcasing her blackface.

Okay, see this is just confusing. What are the racism rules? Because according to my racism decoder book as sent to me by the DNC, Joy Behar is a racist and should resign from everything. Including society itself. But look at the way she's acting here. She's proud of her blackface. She's proud of her curly hair. She's proud of culturally appropriating African women.

What are the new racism rules?

Remember that girl who got hate tweets because she wore an Asian style dress to prom? Are any of the same people who shitposted at her going to shitpost at Joy Behar for dressing as an African woman?

If blackface is a racist attack, then why are Democrats who dressed in blackface still allowed to serve? Here's looking at you Ralph Northam and Mark Herring, both from Virginia. It's a rhetorical question, I know Democrats and liberals, in general, give each other passes. Heck, even the NAACP admitted the DNC is a racist organization. Still, the larger question needs to be asked. If racism is bad (and it is), and blackface is a form of racism, why are Democrats tolerated for being racist?
