VIDEO: Tree of Life Rabbi Praises Trump for Being 'Warm and Personal'
Jeffrey Myers, the rabbi from Tree of Life, appears to not have gotten the memo to blame Donald Trump for the Pittsburgh shooting at his synagogue (see Sarah Sanders Bluntly Points Out Trump vs The Media’s Pittsburgh Response and CNN Guest Says Donald Trump Has Radicalized More People Than ISIS). Shocking as this may sound, POTUS wasn't a madman during the visit. Go figure.
I was privileged to have a private 15 or 20 minutes with the family. The president was very warm, very consoling, put his hand on my shoulder, and the first question he asked me was, "Rabbi, tell me how are you doing.”
I must say throughout the time we spent together, I was pleasantly surprised by a warm and personal side to the president that I don’t think America has ever seen.
Little ball of fur.
Purr Purr Purr...
The "suck it liberal media" aspect here is implied. So I'd like to focus on where the rabbi mentioned America having not seen the softer side of Trump. Especially with the midterm elections next week. Because for many Trump agnostics, what drives us insane is Trump hiding the softer side of himself. The side which could possibly unite the country. Or at very least grow his base of support beyond the MAGA crowd. As opposed to pandering to his base by overplaying the villain the media makes him out to be.
In a recent rally, Trump bragged 33% of Americans think the media is the enemy. Meaning 67% of Americans don't think the media is the enemy.
President Trump has passed good policies. Policies that have been great for the country. I just wish Donald Trump would stop getting in the president's way.
