"The left wants you to believe that Harvard is necessary and that it helps America. But they actually hurt America,” Crowder said. "Harvard as an institution hurts America, and so do many Ivy League schools. They’ll try to convince you they are private institutions, but when you look at how much federal funding they receive compared to their endowment and spending, that’s not really the case."

According to the New York Times:

President Trump floated a new plan on Monday for the $3 billion he wants to strip from Harvard University, saying in a social media post that he was thinking about using the money to fund vocational schools.

“I am considering taking THREE BILLION DOLLARS of Grant Money away from a very antisemitic Harvard, and giving it to TRADE SCHOOLS all across our land,” Mr. Trump posted on Truth Social, his social media platform.

The announcement, among the president’s Memorial Day social media messages, did not appear to refer to any new cut in funding, but rather to a redistribution of money the administration already announced it had frozen or stripped from Harvard and its research partners.

According to The Harvard Gazette, “Harvard on Monday rejected demands from the Trump administration that threaten $9 billion in research funding, arguing that the changes pushed by the government exceed its lawful authority and infringe on both the University’s independence and its constitutional rights.”

"The left is making a lot of claims to convince you, the American worker, who has probably never been to Harvard, that you need to subsidize Harvard, and that it’s actually better for you that Harvard receives billions of dollars than for you to keep that money," Crowder said.

The left claims that Harvard helps America, and this hurts you just as much as it does students.

“Here is the truth, Harvard hurts America,” Crowder said.

They receive billions in funding to teach asinine courses, such as "Power to the People: Black Power, Radical Feminism, and Gay Liberation,” “Street Dance Activism,” and many more.

“It teaches students that we basically invented slavery, that the basis of Western Civilization is evil, and gender is a figment of your imagination,” Crowder said. “If the taxpayer is going to be footing the bill, you better be benefiting and improving this country for the taxpayer. Harvard is anti-American.”
