In what might be the most unsurprising poll in the history of American polling data, President Donald Trump is far more popular than Joe Biden ever was on border security. Who would have thunk it?

According to CNN’s Data Analyst Harry Enten, “President Trump has been the most transformative president when it comes to border security.” In June of 2022, Biden was polling at -23 points on the border, while Trump is currently at +2 net approval.

In other words, to claim border security is “paying off for him in the polls” would be an understatement.

"The American people, when it comes to President Trump, actually like the job that he's doing when it comes to border security,” Enten said.

If you are surprised by this, you are not paying attention. When it comes to the Biden Administration, we are talking about a sleeping potato who created the worst border crisis in American history. The amount of damage this has done, combined with the lives we have lost as a result of these open border policies, will continue to haunt America for years to come.

When it comes to the midterms, Republicans are far more trusted on the border and national security, with a 16-point lead among the GOP and 30 points among independents.

“They are trusted far more on border security than the Democrats," he added.

In regards to the border wall, it used to be much more unpopular, with a negative seven-point approval rating in 2019. In 2025, that support rose to a positive 14 points. This is because all it takes is living under Biden’s open border policies to realize how disastrous they are for this country. And to defend those policies is evil, to say the very least.
