For all the House Democrats who voted against this bill, you are on the wrong side of history.

More than 210 Democrats voted against a bill that would criminalize trans medical care for minors on Wednesday. Three Democrats voted with Republicans, and four Republicans voted with Democrats. And again, to claim they are on the wrong side of history would be an understatement.

I think we all know who the real creeps are, but I digress.

According to Fox News:

The bill creates new federal crimes that carry up to 10 years in prison for doctors performing transgender-affirming surgeries on minors, while also making it a crime to prescribe puberty blockers.

The first problem with this is that it needed to be done. Things should never have gone this far. The second problem with this is that it took way too long for this to even get started. But I guess better late than never, right?

Parents or guardians of children under 18 could also be held criminally liable if they consent to or otherwise facilitate transgender treatment for them.

I am all for parental rights, but parents should not have the “right” to make life-altering decisions like this and sign off on experimental Frankenstein procedures, before these children even reach full brain maturity. That is not compassion, and it's a disservice to all kids who confide in their parents and medical professionals to help them make the right decision.

"This extreme bill puts the threat of prosecution between hundreds of thousands of families and their doctors and would put doctors behind bars for exercising their best medical judgment," said Mike Zamore, national director of policy & government affairs at the American Civil Liberties Union.

It does not matter how much a kid feels they are the opposite gender; it is not compassionate to affirm lies, so much so that they engage in life-altering procedures.

What if they later regret chopping off healthy body parts? Does the left care about that? Certainly not, as it's only compassionate to condone these procedures and bigoted to support them when they later regret it. This is truly deranged behavior that has no place in a civil society.

"Passing this bill would be a grave escalation of an already severe effort to not only push transgender people out of public life but also allow the state to control our bodies and our lives further."

This is about children. Minors cannot even get a tattoo, and we are supposed to allow them to get these types of procedures? Get real. To protect all children, especially the ones who think they are trans, this needed to pass 10 years ago. But again, better late than never, I guess.
