Tim Walz's daughter claims running is "political," and somehow that's NOT the dumbest thing she says
I really do try to avoid anything with politicians' children. Even though Hope Walz, daughter of beta male and failed vice presidential candidate Tim Walz, is making the active choice to kinda sorta enter the arena, it's been more of a generic whining on TikTok way. However, this clip is particularly stupid, and she's the one who invoked her father's name.
Apparently, there is a running influencer named Kate Mackz who visited the White House this week. Hope is all in her feelings over it, claiming that the Trump administration is "preventing people" from getting into the "running community" and that these people need to not be normalized. It is quite literally about good and evil, don't ya know?
Tim Walz's daughter is fuming on TikTok right now because running TikTok influencer Kate Mackz ... *checks notes* ... visited the White House.
Hope Walz says "running is political," because only privileged people are able to run, and it's horrible that Mackz visited with the… pic.twitter.com/qQhKpZjmnp

But it's these bars:
Running an act is political, and you know who taught me that? Tim Walz. The first thing he told me when I was first getting into it in High School is that running is a privilege and being a part of the running community is a privilege that not all people have access to.
What the f*ck are you even talking about?
We're not talking about a gym membership that costs money. The only privilege you need is two legs. That's it.
Anyone reading this right now, regardless of race or economic background or whatever gender they claim to be this week, can log off the internet, go outside, AND START RUNNING! That's all it takes. You open the door. You stretch for a few minutes. Then you move at a pace that is faster than walking.
A "running community" is a bunch of people who do that, just all at the same time. You don't even need a "community." Just a friend or two who also like to run.
I'd ask what kind of parent's first thought, when their kid first takes an interest in an athletic endeavor, is to lecture them about politics, but we just spent the last year being introduced to Tim Walz, so that part makes sense. And he wonders why he failed "code talking" to white people.
Everything is political, and everything is a fight between "good" and "evil" with these people. It's an exhausting way to live your life. Try logging off of social media and going for a run once in a while to clear your head. It might put you in a better mood.
