Tattooed "math" teacher caught indoctrinating students to demonize ICE agents, paid for by Texas tax dollars (Updated)
UPDATE: Sooooo, I (Brodigan) may have fallen for a hoax because there is an argument over whether it is legit. LinkedIn says he's a teacher in Texas. Grok says Los Angeles after being suspended from Texas. This is what happens when I try blogging before the second cup of coffee hits. Though if nothing else, I think we can all agree the video is cringe.
Christian Shearhod, a teacher at @gisdnews in Texas, gave a lesson demonizing ICE, suggesting that they are racist and giving students instructions on how to avoid ICE agents.

A Texas math teacher was recorded, I guess "teaching," a lesson in how to demonize ICE, and coaching students to ignore law enforcement, while also implying ICE was super duper raaaaaaaacist. And I know what you're thinking, "Hey Brodigan, I thought you were not supposed to mess with Texas." I had heard that, too, but it turns out you can mess with Texas all you want during the school day.
Others of you might feel bad because it looks like Machine Gun Kelly has fallen on hard times and is struggling to make ends meet. It's an easy mistake.

No, this is not MGK. It's Mr. Shearod, a math teacher in the Garland school district. Yes, Garland, TEXAS.
This is hardly the first video of a teacher indoctrinating students with their Marxist political agendas, but there's a twist. Usually, these videos are taken without the teacher knowing. We had one yesterday when a teacher had a meltdown after a student called her out for lying about Renee Good. Mr. Shearod filmed and uploaded this video HIMSELF to his TikTok page, where he has close to two million followers.
This means one of two things. One, parents in Garland have no idea what their kids are up to or who is filling their heads with lies and propaganda during the day. Or two, parents know and don't care that their kids are being "taught" by someone who cares more about being a social media influencer than he does their kids' well-being. You shouldn't mess with Texas, though students under 18 are fair game.
Set aside the obvious. That if you are here legally, don't already have a deportation order against you, and/or aren't impeding an officer of the law, you don't need to worry about ICE and can go on about your day.

Stories like this always take me back to my 11th-grade US History class, where, after a lesson on the 1992 presidential primaries and how they work, after class, I innocently asked my teacher who she liked. I still remember the awkward look on her face because it was inappropriate and frowned upon for teachers to share their political opinions with students (though she did say it was Paul Tsongas).
At what point did that change? I'm guessing in the late 2000s when the left and the media (but I repeat myself) decided that any opposing viewpoint was a matter of life and death, as well as -ism and -phobia-inspired hate.
The people who were raised that way are teachers now. And walking advertisements for homeschooling.
