Ted Cruz Smacks Down Media for Shameless Gun Control Push After Texas Shooting
It's only been two days since the shooting in Sutherland Springs, Texas. But what seems like a national tragedy to you and I is but a mere political stepping stone for mainstream media. The video below is a perfect example. Watch as Ted Cruz gets hassled about gun control by shameless media milquetoast. One day after the shooting.
Fret not, he puts them in their place right quick...
An unidentified female reporter muttered a question about gun control to Cruz seconds after he opened up to questions.
"You know, it's an unfortunate thing that the immediate place the media goes after any tragedy, after any murder is politicizing it. We don't need politics right now. I would note in New York we saw a terror attack just this week with a truck. Evil is evil is evil and will use the weaponry that is available," Cruz began.
"There is a reason why there is public distrust of the media because the immediate focus is on a political agenda of gun control. I can say this. The private citizen who used his own rifle saved lives today. This individual was a sick, deranged murderer."
Bingo. The media has turned itself into an immoral chasm of hate. In turn, people are opting to take their trust and viewership elsewhere (see Washington Post Blames Trump for Media Distrust. Ignores Own Fake News…). Can't say I blame them.
Displays like this only seal in the public's disgust. The left's motive is as painfully obvious as Caitlyn Jenner's wrinkled manhood. No amount of polishing can conceal the evil. Yet the media can't help but blame ALL THE GUNS! Despite a gun stopping the shooter and the murder spree.
While we're on the subject, let's focus on the heroics of the tragedy:
