Watch: We NEED to start classifying transgenderism as a mental illness

On Monday, a shooter opened fire at an ice skating rink in Rhode Island. Today’s show breaks down the details that point to a notable trend.
“The tally of trans shooters increased to eight since 2018 and two within the last week,” Crowder said.
According to Fox News:
A suspect accused of shooting and killing two people at a Rhode Island ice rink on Monday before killing himself was identified as transgender and had a history of past family conflict over his gender identity, a local news outlet reported, citing court documents.
Court records show Robert Dorgan had been involved in multiple disputes with relatives in recent years, including allegations that tensions escalated after he underwent gender reassignment surgery, according to WPRI.
Dorgan, 56, is accused of opening fire inside the Dennis M. Lynch Arena in Pawtucket during a hockey game between Coventry and Blackstone Valley Schools in what police described as a "family dispute," Pawtucket Police Chief Tina Goncalves said at a press conference Monday.
"We are looking at the warning signs, and saying, considering the comorbidities, considering the domestic rates, and the suicidal ideation that is seen nowhere else in nature, maybe these people are showing us warning signs of mental instability, and we don't actually want to accelerate it," Crowder said. "We are seeing these acts of mass violence occur at a very rapidly accelerating rate. It's hard to find empirical data on that because the powers that be don't want you to.”
In 2020, Dorgan reported to North Providence police that he had undergone gender-reassignment surgery and said his father-in-law wanted him out of the family home because of it. Police identified the suspect by the birth name Robert Dorgan and said he also went by "Roberta."
Many media outlets chose not to report the gender identity of the shooter. This includes the New York Times, CBS, POLITICO, and AP.
"There's no mention of it because it's not relevant even though it's the second in the week," Crowder said. “The reason that it matters if it involves trans ideology is that these people have told you their ideology. You don't have to go do detective work when they tell you.”
The governor also chose not to release that information.
“If there's a pattern that is important information, your duty is to keep the public informed and safe,” Crowder added.
According to Crowder, society must do what needs to be done to help people who identify as trans.
“I believe every single person who claims to be transgender needs to be classified as having a mental illness,” Crowder said. “You treat it the same way you treat any mental illness.”
